Welcome to Wood Badge!

Welcome to the online home of Wood Badge for the Simon Kenton Council. The 2012 Course, C4-441-12, will held at Chief Logan Reservation – the most centrally located Scout camp in the Council. The dates of the course are Aug. 10 - 12 and Sept. 7 - 9, Friday 7:30 a.m. - Sunday 5:00 p.m.

Course size is limited to 48 participants and is on a first-come, first-served basis. A non-refundable deposit of $50 will secure your application.  Information about submitting an application to be a participant is located below.
 

PRE-REQUISITES

Applicants should have completed all training specific to the positions in which they serve. For example, Scoutmasters and Asst. Scoutmasters should have graduated Green Bar, Eagle Feather or similar program, or attained equivalent training for their position through the Council.

A current Annual Health and Medical Record is required. 

COST

The cost of the course, which includes first-weekend lodging and meals as well as a course manual and training materials, is:

  • $240 – if registered and total cost paid on or before June 1, 2012
  • $270 – if paid after June 1, 2012

A scholarship of up to one half (½) of the early bird fee is available for qualified participants.
